Swedish ceramic artist Eleonor Boström is a master of minimalist ceramics in the likeness of cute dogs, symmetrical women and other slightly bizarre but equally wonderful forms. Now, I love a porcelain hound so Eleonor’s creations are a treat worth sharing. Working primarily with white glazes and simple black detailing, Eleonor describes her pieces as ‘functional sculptures’. Each is thumbed differently for an imperfect and pared-back finish.
